what's the waterline?
Think of your business as a boat. The waterline is the line where the water hits the side of your boat. When your business is running well, everything essential is above the waterline. Your boat is buoyant, stable, resilient and taking you where you want to go. Sailing is smooth.
But we all know it's not always that easy. Owning a small business can be hard. I'm here to help. Together we prioritize, identify opportunities and create strategies to improve operations and drive profitability so you as the owner can thrive.
My job is to get you above the waterline
Most of us didn’t start our businesses because we “loved” business. OK, actually, I did; but I’m weird. My guess is that you started your business because you loved something so much you wanted to share it with the world. Let me help you love it again.
I can help you figure out the hard stuff so you can focus on what you do best.
“You gotta love the life you live and live the life you love.”
~ Bob Marley
Who am I ?
I am a results driven, people person who happens to love spreadsheets and P&Ls. I’ve owned and operated successful businesses and sold my last company in Fall 2019, just before Covid. And now, I believe that my job is to help others. I love small business because it’s gritty and the heart of the American economy. I’m also passionate about the solopreneuer- creatives, counselors, designers, therapists and writers. My big WHY is to teach, inspire, coach, rally and motivate. And to have fun while we do it.
If we work together, you can expect me to ask hard questions, challenge you to solidify your goals, and help you find the tools you need to get there. With over 25 years experience in businesses large and small, and specific expertise in child care, retail and the restaurant industry, my personal passions include leadership development, diversity & inclusion work, non-profit leadership and helping others succeed.
